Which cards can I accept?

You can accept any credit or debit card supported by Maestro, Visa or MasterCard.

 

 

What’s the maximum payment I can take?

The keypad will not accept payments of more than £5,000, for security reasons.

How long do payments take to reach my bank?

Payments will appear in your bank account usually within four working days.

Can I take payments over the phone?

Yes, we call these Card Not Present payments, or CNP. This is a good way to take deposits, or take payments when you work from home. For more details, click below to read the User Guide for your device.

Can I take payments from non-chip (magnetic swipe) cards?

Yes. There’s a slot at the top of the keypad for magnetic swipe cards.

Can I make a refund with the keypad?

Yes. You can refund a payment within the WorldPay Zinc app or using the online transaction management system, My Account. For more details, click below to read the User Guide for your device:

Can I cancel or void a payment after it’s gone through?

Yes. You can use the app on your mobile device.

Does the customer need to sign something?

If the customer’s card cannot be Chip read and is instead swiped the customer will need to sign in the space provided on your smartphone.
